We Are an Amazon Associate
This site is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
When you click an outbound product link on this site and complete a qualifying purchase on Amazon, Amazon pays us a small commission. You pay the same price whether you reach Amazon through us or directly. The commission helps us keep the lights on, write more guides, and update existing ones.
How Affiliate Links Work Here
- Every product link to Amazon on this site is an affiliate link, including links inside product cards, comparison tables, popup windows, and inline article text.
- We append our Amazon Associates tracking tag to outbound URLs so Amazon can attribute referrals back to us.
- Some links may go through a redirect (e.g.,
/api/go?...) for click counting and attribution. The destination is always Amazon — we do not redirect to surprise destinations.
Editorial Independence
Affiliate commissions do not influence how we rank products. Specifically:
- We rank by editorial assessment of features, value, and customer satisfaction, not by commission rates.
- We have no contracts, sponsorships, or pay-for-placement deals with the brands or sellers whose products we rank.
- A negative finding does not get suppressed because the product is in the Amazon Associates program — every Amazon listing is, in some sense, eligible for the program.
If we ever accept a sponsored placement on this site (we have no plans to today), it would be labeled clearly and visibly as "Sponsored" or "Advertisement," separate from our editorial rankings.
